Holiday Social and General Meeting
It was a fun afternoon for START members at the Holiday Luncheon and General Meeting. At the annual meeting (the only one we have a year) our incoming Vice President and Treasurer were elected. Our Social Committee did a great job keeping the afternoon full of surprises.

Fall Social
After Milton caused our October social to be postponed, START members finally were able to get together on November 6th. We met at Acqua-Pazza in downtown Wellen Park for a delicious meal, great conversation and some laughs.

Summer Social
Our members enjoyed a tour of the Clyde Butcher Art Gallery and Dark Room on July 30th. After the tour, we savored delicious food and some excellent wine at Made in Italy. The highlight was socializing and participating in solving a ‘jig-saw puzzle’. Once again our Social Director showed her creativity by taking a Clyde Butcher photo print and cutting it into 25 separate jig-saw puzzle pieces. On the back of each puzzle piece was a question. After dinner we solved the puzzle together …..and, as each part of the puzzle was placed, each person answered their question. We learned a little bit more about each other and the outing demonstrated why we have ‘Socials’……to have opportunities to connect in fun settings.

Fifth Anniversary Party
START members celebrated its fifth anniversary at the Venice Art Center on April 18th. Having served 44 organizations since inception, members had a lot to be proud of. The entertainment, provided by member 'Mr. Smooth', and the food were excellent. A special thanks to our Social Committee for organizing and setting up such a special evening. We even were able to donate left over food to the Nokomis Fire Department.
